We all know that household cars have a break in period, and in fact, construction machinery such as loaders also have a break in period. The break in period for small loaders is generally 60 hours. Of course, different models of loaders may have differences, and it is necessary to refer to the manufacturer's user manual. The running in period is an important link to ensure the normal operation of the loader, reduce the failure rate, and extend its service life. Operators need to undergo specialized training, have a thorough understanding of the equipment, and be proficient in daily maintenance and upkeep.

When a small loader is newly manufactured, each part is independently processed before assembly. After assembly, there may be deviations and burrs between the parts. Therefore, during the operation of the small loader, some parts may experience friction. After a period of operation, the burrs between the parts will gradually wear down, and the operation between them will be smoother and more smooth. This intermediate period is called the break in period. During the running in period, due to the unsmooth connection of various components, it is important to note that their operation should not exceed 60% of the rated working load. This is to better protect the equipment, extend its service life, and reduce the failure rate.

During the break in period, it is important to regularly observe the readings on various instruments. If any abnormalities occur, the vehicle should be stopped for inspection. During the running in period, there may be a decrease in engine oil and lubricating oil, which is due to the sufficient lubrication of engine oil after operation. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly check the condition of engine oil, lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, coolant, brake fluid, etc. After the break in period, some engine oil can be extracted and its quality checked. At the same time, it is necessary to check the lubrication between various transmission components and bearings, carry out inspection and adjustment work, and pay attention to oil replacement. Prevent the loss of lubricating oil, which can lead to a decrease in lubrication efficiency and abnormal wear between components, resulting in the occurrence of faults.

After the running in period of the small loader has passed, it is necessary to check whether there is any looseness in the fasteners, check whether the fastening gaskets are damaged, and replace them.
